Riot police have been deployed in Tamil Nadu as O Panneerselvam and Edappadi Palanisamy supporters are pelting stones and the clash has turned violent.

Heavy security has been deployed outside Panneerselvam’s house as Palani supporters were seen pelting stones and a massive ruckus outside OPS’s residence.

Experts say that people of Tamil Nadu have one expression now “God save Tamil Nadu” as the leaders who took oath today were not elected to power by them. People don’t mind president’s rule nor mind fresh elections but do not want Mannargudi family to rule them,” sources said.

Thus being the third chief minister of Tamil Nadu in two months, even Palanisamy’s tenure as the CM is unpredictable. The people are staging a protest against running a remote control government from the jail. Sasikala’s nephew has been appointed to run the party, giving a clear indication that the Mannargudi family will be ruling Tamil Nadu.

Panneerselvam has been demanding a floor test, saying the MLAs in the resort were forced to stay there. The governor has given 15 days for CM Edappadi Palanisamy to prove majority.

Palanisamy with his Cabinet members will go to the Jaya memorial and pay his respect.
