'I only know how to act': Nayantara denies all rumours!

 

Simbu, Prabhudeva... no this rumour has nothing to do with any of them. The glamorous Nayantara, who is awaiting the release of Idhu Namma Aalu (May 27) movie opposite Simbu, has rubbished rumours of starting a production house.

 

Rumours were ripe that Nayantara’s production house is all set to direct a movie for Vijay Sethupathi. Some other reports said that Nayantara’s new production house will bring out a thriller.

 

Initially, Nayantara did not give any attention to these statements. But when various versions of these stories started doing the rounds, she decided to talk about it.

 

“I am an actor and all I know is to act. I have no interest in production and all news regarding flooring any movie from my production house, which is not formed at all, is baseless,” said Nayantara, speaking to a media house.

Nayantara also said that she has no time to give dates for new movies, so running a production house was out of question. Sources said that due to clashes in dates she had refused big offers like Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie, which is a remake of Tamil movie Katthi and Balakrishna’s 100th movie Gautamiputra Satakarni.

 

 

On the work front, fans are awaiting Idhu Namma Aalu which is releasing on May 27. The movie has garnered special interest as Nayantara is starring opposite Simbu, her ex-lover, after a gap of 10 years.

 

Meanwhile, Simbu’s version of the Oru Thalairagam song from Idhu Namma Aalu has crossed 3 million views on YouTube.

 

Currently, she is busy shooting for Venkatesh’s Babu Bangaram, Vikram’s Iru Murugan, Karthi’s Kashmora and an untitled horror thriller. Soon she will start shooting for a movie with Sivakarthikeyan.
