'Missing' MLA gives fitting reply to Congress men citing Rahul Gandhi

mukesh missing complaint

Actor-turned-politician Mukesh seems to be slowly learning the tricks of the trade to survive in the political landscape of the state.

In a tit-for-tat reply to his political opponents who filed a 'man missing complaint' against the legislator, Mukesh said 'he had gone to seek a membership in the 'Rahul Club', taking a dig at the Congress vice-president who himself is missing from the scene and holidaying abroad. Mukesh further said that he was sent back as it required the person to leave home for at least four months and did not forget to add that his comments were pun intended.

A few days back, the Youth Congress workers had filed a 'missing complaint' at Kollam West police alleging that the newly elected legislator is missing from his constituency. Apparently, the complaint lodged was an act of mockery on Mukesh who won from Kollam as a Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate but was missing from the scene when the coastal areas of Kollam are under the threat of rough sea and a steel bomb exploded at the district court complex last week.

Mukesh said apart from being a politician he is also a committed actor and may have to stay away from his constituency for a while but he keeps himself updated about the events in his constituency regularly.

But the CPM has now taken up the matter with Kollam Assistant Police Commissioner.
