Masti Gudi tragedy Accused taken to Ramanagar jail

 

The accused are being taken to the Ramanagar prison, following the order of the Judicial Magistrate First Class Court of Magadi.

 

In a tragic incident on November 7, two actors Uday and Anil died after they fell from a helicopter to the Thippagondanahalli Dam during the shooting of the film Masti Gudi. Five persons including the producer, director, stunt director, associate director and unit manager were accused of instigating the crime.

 

Producer Sundar Gowda was arrested the following day of the tragedy, director Nagashekhar and stunt director along with others were absconding. They surrendered before the Magadi Police today. The JMFC has handed over the accused to a 14-day judicial custody.

 

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has already imposed a temporary ban on the male lead of the film Duniya Vijay, director Nagashekhar and stunt director Ravi Varma.
