Man nabbed for molesting a 3 year old girl in Bengaluru

Sexual assaults have become a regular phenomenon in the society. But we do not really get the idea of sexually assaulting a three and a half year old girl. A man in Bengaluru actually did this to a girl at her mother’s day-care centre on Thursday. Later he was arrested and was taken to the Vijaynagar Police Station.

The grandparents of the child filed a complaint with the police after the girl complained about stomach ache and irritation in her private parts. The suspect Sanjay Kumar apparently tied her hands before pouncing on the girl. Sanjay, who is 25, is a resident of Hampinagar in West Bengaluru.

"His mother runs a day-care centre where 27 children, all below the age of four, attend half-day classes. Last Thursday, his mother went to rest after Sanjay arrived. Most of the children had gone home but this child was waiting for her grandparents with a few other children, who were waiting for their parents," the police was quoted as saying by The Times of India.

"She kept crying in her sleep. The following day, she told her mother that 'Sanjay' uncle harassed her."

Sanjay allegedly lured the girl to another room with chocolates. The police have arrested Sanjay under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act, 2012.

The whole idea of sexually assaulting a girl child is disgusting so to say. How do we stop this from happening? This is not the first time such an incident has happened in this city and in other parts of India as well. No matter how much we tell such men to change their way of thinking, it seems that such creeps will never stop. So the Police needs to be on high alert and avert any of such incidents.
