It has raised several questions such as - why was the main accused in the molestation case with many cases pending against him in different police stations hired by many celebrities as their driver?
With the accused being a repeat offender, it has also brought to light the probable underworld links to Malayalam film industry, according to the New Indian Express. Writer N S Madhavan has criticised the underworld links in Mollywood, according to the report. Furthermore, Director Vinayan has said that the driver was booked for a similar case earlier and producer Suresh Kumar had to rescue his wife from Sunil. Reportedly, the police have gathered evidence that several prominent members of the Malayalam film industry had made phone calls to Sunil aka Pulsar Suni after the incident. However, the police didn't reveal any concrete date or divulge any names.
