FIR has been filed by one of the AIADMK MLAs in resort, Saravanan in the Koovathur Police Station Saravanan has said that he escaped the resort in disguise He has currently joined Panneerselvam’s camp
The resort politics is turned murkier as one of the MLAs Saravanan from Madurai South Constituency, joined Panneerselvam’s camp and filed a complaint against Sasikala and Palanisami charging them with kidnap of MLAs. “I had to escape the resort in Koovathur in disguise. I was physically as well as mentally humiliated there,” he had told the media on February 13. He also said that before getting out, he had to scale the wall.

He even compared himself to the kitten and said that when a person like him can escape even the Cubs (MLAs in the resort) will follow suit and leave Sasikala’s camp soon. As he had said, 12 MLAs escaped from the resort and joined Panneerselvam’s camp on February 14.
However, it will surely prove negative on the part of the new AIADMK chief Palanisami as the case is booked against him too for abducting the MLAs from the party headquarters on February 8.
