A DNA test result has confirmed that the Catholic priest who was arrested for raping and impregnating a 16-year-old, is the biological father of the baby delivered by the girl. The test was conducted at a lab in Thiruvananthapuram to verify the allegation of rape against the priest.

The blood samples of the priest, the minor and the newborn were analysed and it was confirmed that the minor girl and priest were the biological parents.
