Know when and where 1300 additional KSRTC buses for Ganesh Chaturthi

 

With the Ganesh Chaturthi festival on the horizon, special bus services will be released to facilitate people travelling from Bengaluru to anywhere inside the state and also outside. Special arrangements will also be made for tourists who visit Karnataka from outside the state on September 5.

 

Tickets are available at discount rates (on advanced booking) at 171 centres in Bengaluru, 17 centres in Mysuru, 35 centres in Mangaluru and 230 computerised reservation centres at other places in the state.

 

A 5% discount will be given for booking of four or more tickets at one time, 10% discount is available for booking the return ticket too.

 

Counters for booking advanced tickets are also available at Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Goa, Maharashtra and Puducherry.

 

The KSRTC will provide additional bus services from Bengaluru to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davanagere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapur, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Rayachur, Kalaburgi, Bellary, Koppal, Yadagir, Bidar, Tirupati.

 

Commuters can board these buses from the Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic).

 

Bus services are available from the KSTRC's satellite stops to Mysuru, Hunasuru, Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagar and Madikeri.

 

Those travelling to Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Madurai, Kumbakonam, Trichy, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupati, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad can board the buses at Shanthinagar bus stop.

 

Additional bus services will be arranged for travelling to Shivamogga, Davanagere, Tirupati, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Kukke Subramanya and Dharmasthala will be available at various points including Jayanagar 4th and 9th Block, JP Nagar, Jalahalli Cross, Navarang-Rajajinagar, Malleshwaram 18th Cross, and Kengeri Satellite Bus stop.

 

People travelling to Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapur, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar can also book tickets in advance at Majestic and Satellite bus stops.

 

Those travelling to Kalaburgi, Bellary, Raichur, Hospet, Koppal, Yadgir and Bidar can book advance tickets at Basaveshwarnagar and Majestic Bus Stop.
