Kerala CM, cabinet colleagues to turn teachers on September 5
- The program would be organised on September 5 to recognize the contribution made by teachers to the society.
- The ministers would take classes for students of the 124-year-old Attakulangara Government Central High School
Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan is known as a tough taskmaster and quite famous for his organisational capabilities. Now the veteran leader is all set to take classes for students of a government school in the capital Thiruvananthapuram on September 5 - which is celebrated as Teacher's Day in India.Â

The chief minister will be joined by his council of ministers for the novel job. Ministers of Finance, Health, Education and Local Self -Government departments will take classes for the students of Attakulangara Government Central High School.

Classes would be taken on lifestyle-related subjects and to create awareness on the dangerous effects of alcohol, drugs and tobacco abuse. Children would also be taught on adopting a healthy lifestyle and the ill-effects of bad food habits and lack of physical activity.Â

The CM and his cabinet colleagues are also planning to take ‘environment literacy' at 75 taluks of the state on ‘World Literacy Day’, which falls on September 8.
