HD Kumara Swamy predicts the fate of the Congress government. Referring to BJP's negligence towards Advani, he told that SM Krishna is not going to be respected in BJP if he joins.
Followed by the developments in congress party, including the exit of former Chief Minister SM Krishna, now HD Kumara Swamy, State President of JD (S) has predicted that the congress government is not going to complete 5 years and is going to be dissolved within six months.

Responding to Kumara Swamy's comment, Minister DK Shivakumara has advised Kumara Swamy not to give childish statements publicly. “Kumara Swamy was nobody in Karnataka politics when I entered Assembly for the first time” he said.
Commenting on the internal developments of the Congress, Kumara Swamy said that Karnataka assembly elections also will be held along with the assembly elections in Gujarat, which is scheduled in January 2018.
“Earlier, I had told that Karnataka is going to witness assembly elections in the year 2017. Now the developments in the congress are likely to prove my prediction. I’m not a soothsayer but sometimes, the mind catches some clear imaginations that never go untrue” - HD Kumara Swamy
He also commented on the ‘bareness’ of congress party, which is struggling to contest a leader to win the by-elections of Nanjanagudu Assembly constituency, as the leaders are quitting the party one by one.
