The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) declared the results of Senior School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) at 3 pm on Monday on the government’s official website- kseeb.kar.nic.in and sslc.kar.nic.in.Ranjan from Poorna Prajna School in Bhadravati, Shivamogga District scored cent percent and topped the exam.

 

The overall pass percentage this year is 79.16%, two percent less than previous year. However, 82.64% of girls from the state aced the exam with flying colours while 75.84% boys cleared the exam.

 

Students from the rural district of Bengaluru outshined with 89.63% pass percentage, followed by Udupi with 89.52% and Mangalore with 88.01%. 

 

However, according to reports, no student has passed in three government schools at Vijaypura, Bellary and Managalore. Supplementary exam will be held from June 20 to 27, and May 25 will be the last date for registration.

 

Around 8.49 lakh students appeared for the exam from across the state which was held from March 31 to April 12
