Bengaluru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) launched its luxurious 'Flybus' in 2013. From August 14, these buses have been plying from Bengaluru's Kempegowda international airport (KIA) to Madikeri, Mysuru, Kundapur and Coimbatore via Salem. Eight high-end buses, with in-built toilets and wi-fi, run 16 rounds from KIA to Mysuru. Services from Bengaluru to Tirupati are now introduced.

Talking to Asianet Newsable, Divisional Controller of Bengaluru central division, KSRTC, BT Prabhakar Reddy stated that 2 more flybuses are introduced in KIA, which will be travelling to Tirupati twice a day. The first trip will be leaving to Tirupati at 10 am  and will be reaching the destination at 3 pm and the second trip will be starting at 10 pm and will reach by 3 am. The bus will return back to KIA at 11 am and reach by 9 pm and the second trip will leave by 4 pm and reach KIA by 2 am.

KSRTC officials inaugurated the bus service at KIA recently. This facility will not just help people within the city, but will also help those residing in towns in and around the airport.
