Kanhaiya says 'Prime Model' Modi is killing India
- JNU leader Kanhaiya lashed out at Prime Minister Modi.
- "Prime Minister's tweets will not bring in development."
- "It is not 'Skill India' but Kill India."
Calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Prime Model, student leader Kanhaiya Kumar led a scathing attack on the BJP government at the Centre at a public meeting at Thiruvananthapuram on Monday evening.
"Yes, Narendra Modi is PM- not Prime Minister but Prime Model," Kumar hit out at Modi while speaking at a public meeting held in connection with the state conference of All India Youth Federation, the youth wing of the Communist Party of India. "I would like to remind the 'Prime Model that we voted you to power not to dictate what we should eat and wear," he said referring to the beef controversy.
Ridiculing the Skill India project, Kumar said that Modi's actual plan was to 'Kill India.' The Prime Minister should realise that sitting at office tweeting will not bring development, he said.
The student leader from Jawaharlal Nehru University also criticised the NDA govt. for playing politics over the surgical strikes across the line of control in Kashmir. The government is trying to divert attention from people's problems by whipping up war frenzy, he alleged.
