New kid on the block Kalidas Jayaram is all set to make his Mollywood debut as lead actor.
Kalidas will join a league of celebrity children - like Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj and Fahad Fazil - who have carved a niche for themselves in the industry. He will be seen in an as-of-yet untitled movie directed by Abrid Shine. It is a campus-themed film.
Interestingly, Kalidas made his debut in tinsel town as a child artist in 'Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal' and 'Ente Veedu Appuvintem' along with his father Jayaram. Kalidas had won the National Award for Best Child Artist for his performance in Ente Veedu Appuvintem.
The young actor made his cinematic lead debut in a Tamil project titled Oru Pakka Kathai directed by Balaji Tharaneedran.
It is the third directorial venture of Abrid Shine, who made a mark with 1983 and Action Hero Biju.
