Apollo Hospital a deadly jinx for the AIADMK

Is Chennai Apollo hospital jinxed

After the death of prominent leaders like Jayalalithaa, VR Nedunchezhiyan and Sendura Pandian - all of whom who breathed their last at the Apollo Hospital Chennai, this hospital is being perceived as a jinx by many in the city of Chennai. 

 

Apollo Hospital sources are claiming that many Tamilians, who follow state politics, are passing comments and saying that the rich and affluent who wish to die a luxurious death go to this hospital.

 

Apart from Amma, earlier in 2000 former acting Chief Minister VR Nedunchezhiyan died of cardiac arrest in Apollo Hospital. He was a chairman of AIADMK and was a loyalist of Jayalalithaa. In fact, he was also made the finance minister of Tamil Nadu by Jayalalithaa.

 

Last year former minister, Sendura Pandian also died of cardiac arrest in this hospital. Interestingly, he was also an AIADMK loyalist.

 

MGR, AIADMK founder and general secretary, as well as Jayalalithaa's patron, also had received treatment for his breathing ailments at the Apollo Hospital but he died at his residence.

 

Going by this trend, the sources claim that it could bring negative branding to the renowned hospital as a few residents have begun to perceive this hospital as jinxed for the AIADMK.
