If winning the hearts of the entire film industry and his fans was not enough, director Rajamouli has now won the hearts of the Andhra Pradesh government too.

If sources are to be believed, Andhra government has approached Rajamouli to create a town plan for the city of Amaravati.

Rajamouli’s film - Baahubali – became talk of the town with its brilliant cinematography, excellent plot and magnificent sets. It seems, impressed by the grandeur of the sets and graphics, Chandrababu Naidu, CM of Andhra Pradesh, has instructed Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) to take assistance from Rajamouli to plan out the city.

Mahishmati city of Baahubali film reflects the classical telugu culture and the APCRDA wants Rajamouli to plan the prime buildings of its new capital city Amaravati, according to the graphics shown in Baahubali.

Sources say that P Narayana, Minister for Urban Development has already contacted Rajamouli and the director has agreed to do the needful. He may take up the town planning work of Amaravati after the completion of Baahubali 2. The shooting of Baahubali 2 is in progress and it is expected to be released by the end of April 2017.
