The suspected ISIS terrorists who were arrested in Hyderabad this past week have reportedly said during interrogation that they were plotting to plant bombs in Hyderabad.

The five were arrested on Wednesday. If they were not arrested, there was chance of a fatal evening in Hyderabad, said an NIA officer as per the report in One India.

The suspects were planning to plant bombs in areas such as shopping malls, IT corridors, police stations and religious centres.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, ISIS leaders in Syria were the masterminds behind these planned attacks.


These five accused were exchanging information and getting directions through the internet.


Identified as Mohammed Ibrahim Yazdani alias Ibbu, Habeeb Mohammed alias Sir, Mohammed Ilyas Yazdani, Abdullah Bin Ahmed Al Amoodi and Muzaffar Hussain Rizwan, the five have been handed over to judicial custody till July 14.

The National Investigation Agency officers are interrogating the five accused.
