Unconfirmed reports said the forensic efforts to recover the visuals of the assault on the actress had been succeeded. They found the visuals from a memory card submitted by the police for examination. The forensic finding would be submitted tomorrow. But it is not clear whether the evidence was recovered from the memory card used in the mobile phone with which visual was recorded.

Some reports say the the crucial evidence was retrieved from a memory card submitted by the counsel of Pulsar Suni before the court and that it was a copy of the original visuals.

The investigation team hopes that they have clinching evidence against the culprits including Pulsar Suni, who allegedly masterminded the abduction, even if it failed to recover the original devices used to record and store the visuals.

The investigators could not find the mobile phone, the crucial digital evidence in the case. Pulsar Suni insists that the mobile phone was thrown into Vembanad Lake. But the investigation team is not willing to believe his statement and wanted to conduct the narco-analysis which it believes would give vital clues to recover the device. But the court rejected permission for narco-tests after Pulsar Suni told the court that he was not ready for the procedure. The accused allegedly recorded the visuals of the assault on the actress to use it for blackmailing her.
