'Drunk' Chinese woman, husband assault cop in Bengaluru

 

 

Drunken Chinese women assaults Bengaluru Police

The Commercial Street police arrested a drunk Chinese woman and her husband for allegedly assaulting an officer on duty.

 

Xeyuxi Yu (30) and her husband Prashanth Hiremath (33) are the residents of HSR layout in Bengaluru. Hiremath has been working in Shangai as a software engineer when he met Xeyuki, who is a teacher. They got married in 2015 and were on a visit to India.

 

The couple was dining at a restaurant on MG Road on Tuesday night. Prashanth who had consumed alcohol, lost control of his two-wheeler and the couple fell off their bike at BRV Junction.

 

The police, who were stationed at the junction, came to the couple's rescue only to find that both were drunk. Police officer Fayaz was advising the couple to not drive when Xeyuki slapped the cop.

 

 

The assistant commissioner of police (ACP) and senior officials arrived at the spot and arrested the couple. The Commercial Street police have lodged a case against the couple after officer Fayaz filed a complaint. The couple is currently in judicial custody.

 

A similar incident had occurred in Bengaluru when a drunk Nigerian woman attacked a local mobile shop owner in June.
