The filming for the much-awaited sequel Baahubali-2 has finally picked up pace with the team currently in Gadag shooting the climax scene.According to sources, certain scenes of the movie will be filmed held at Neelgund, Gajendragad and Kappatahills in Gadag district.

It has been rumoured that the scene in which Kattappa kills Baahubali will be shot at Gudneshwara Mutt in Neelgund village.
According to other reports, director SS Rajamouli has already shot some of the climax sequences.Gadag is known for its religious and historical sites such as Trikuteshwara temple and Jumma Masjid. It is also popular for its hilly landscapes like Kappatahills.
