For Akanksha, Monday was supposed to be good day as she met her fitness goals. But after a long hour at the gym, when she decided to have a healthy breakfast she literally ended up opening a can of worms.

"Yesterday, I thought of having a healthy meal, a.k.a Kellogg's corn flakes and milk, I got the shock of my life. When I took my first bite, I saw an unusual white object on my spoon on a cornflake," Akanksha Mehrotra, a former journalist and freelance writer toldAsianet Newsable.
"I was disgusted to discover a white worm," she added.
Akanksha has now contacted Kellogg's, demanding some explanation as to what caused the worm infestation in the cornflakes.
The box of Kellogg's corn flakes was delivered to her on May 31, 2016 and still was within its expiry period. Kellogg's India got in touch with Akanksha on Facebook.
"We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to you, Akanksha. Our Consumer Affairs team would get in touch with you to understand your concern. Request you to inbox us your contact details." the message posted by Kellogg's consumer team read.
This is, however, not first time worms have been found in Kellogg's. Back on November 17, 2014, had reported of a couple finding several worms in Kellogg's Extra Muesli Crunchy Fruit and Nut.
"We were horrified to find slimy, pink worms in the muesli. It wasn't just one or two -- there were several. Both of us gagged and I ran to check if the milk had gone bad. But it wasn't the milk, so I emptied the contents of the Kellogg's box into a big vessel and began searching for worms," a 30-year-old entrepreneur, Thirukumaran Nagarajan had told BM.
