Advocate General (AG) C P Sudhakara Prasad has proposed a judicial inquiry into the incident in which advocates allegedly attacked journalists on the High Court premises on Wednesday. He also suggested that a retired judge should be entrusted with the probe.

Media had also exposed the attempts of the relatives of the advocate to force the victim to withdraw her statement against the pleader. A group of lawyers maintained that the reports are wrong, and the case  a fabricated one.
