Bengaluru: Traffic routes altered for Saint Mary's Feast tomorrow
- All types of vehicles’ movement - including BMTC buses - plying from BRV Talkies traffic junction to Shivajinagar Bus Stand have been banned.
- Similarly, all vehicles - including BMTC buses - coming from Balekundri Circle to Shivajinagar Bus Stand have been banned after 2 PM
FollowAll vehicular movement from Jyothi Café (near St Mary’s Basilica) towards Russel Market had been banned in expectation of the grand celebrations expected to be held in the Saint Mary’s Basilica in Shivajinagar.
Traffic police have also banned the plying of vehicles on Broadway Road towards Russel Market; from Dharmaraja Temple Street to Russel Market via OPH Road leading to Taj Circle.
Apart from this, all types of vehicles’ movement - including BMTC buses - plying from BRV Talkies traffic junction to Shivajinagar Bus Stand have been banned.
Similarly, all vehicles - including BMTC buses - coming from Balekundri Circle to Shivajinagar Bus Stand have been banned after 2 PM, the traffic police have said.
Parking Banned: Traffic Police have banned vehicular parking in and around Russel Market, Broadway Road, Meenakshi Temple Street, Central Street, Shivaji Road, Balekundri Circle to Cunnigham Road and up to Chandrika Hotel. Further, it has been banned in Union Street, Infantry Road, Cubbon Road, Lady Curzon Road, VSN Road, Plain Street, MG Road and Brigade Road as well.
Parking Facility: Parking facilities will be provided for the public on Kamaraja Road (in front of Army School); in front of Safeena Plaza on Main Guard Cross Road; Cubbon Park – precincts of Kings Road; on Jasma Bhavan Road; RBANMS Grounds on Gangadhar Chetty Road and Muslim Orphanage – Dickenson Road (near Hasnath College).
