Bengaluru Casanova gets three women pregnant, finally caught

Vajresh alias Danny, a 27-year-old Bengaluru resident, had a lifestyle that would put Giacomo Casanova to shame. He managed to get two wives and a girlfriend pregnant in two years and was planning a third wedding for himself when his con was caught.

 

He locked his first wife Rekha at a relative’s places and tied the knot with a second one.  He wanted to do something similar a third time, but his luck ran out as his second wife and girlfriend caught him and thrashed him at his house.

 

Vajresh was finally arrested for cheating women.  His philanderings became public when Roopa, his second wife, and Shailaja, who he was dating on the side, barged into his house along with their families and media. 

 

Seeing a number of people gathered at his door, Vajresh locked his house from the inside and refused to open the door.  The family members and friends forced him to open the door and confronted Vajresh and his family.        

 

Vajresh is a habitual offender. He befriends girls and cheats, not only of their belongings, but on them with other women. He is the father of a three-month-old child from his first wife. Roopa, his second wife is five months pregnant. On Friday, the victims who trashed him say that he was working on a third marriage.  

 

Mind filled with lust and hunger for money: victims

Roopa, the second wife says her husband tortured her and demanded dowry. His mother Gowramma was an ally, she alleges. "When I went to confront him on Friday, he let his pet dog loose to pounce on me and bite me. He is a cheat and he should be punished," she said.

 

Bhagylakhsmi, Roopa’s mother, said that when they has visited Vajresh’s house to finalise the wedding last year, the family members did not tell them about his earlier marriage.

 

"This boy had married two women and had an affair with a third. He also forced the girl to abort a child from that that affair," she said and added that he used to change the house once in three months.

 

One of the victims’ family members said, "He has many affairs and he was always talking on the phone and chatting on social media networks with girls. Whenever Roopa asked about it, he would make excuses," said Venkatesh, Roopa's uncle.

 

Shailaja, Vajresh's girlfriend, who filed a complaint with Thalghatpura Police and says Vajresh used to dress up well and hang out at malls to target girls. He used to befriend them and take their numbers.

 

She says she fell prey to his tricks. "I was promised marriage. We grew close and I found I was pregnant. Later, he forced me to abort the child. Various cases including rape and cheating have been registered against him," said the grieving Shailaja.
