, which is in competition with Bengaluru, is in fifth place in the list. According to the survey, the improvement in financial transactions, urbanisation, massive investment in building infrastructure, new start-ups and the availability of space for new companies were the determining factors for Bengaluru to find its place at the top.

In addition, metro rail services, good transport services through the Outer Ring Road and the provision of foreign direct investments have contributed to the growth of financial transactions in the city.

Bengaluru has been supporting India’s economic growth and the development of science and technology for decades. Massive enterprises like HAL, NAL, BEL and BHEL have contributed largely to the field of technology. ISRO, DRDO, Raman Research Institute, IISc and other institutes have been promoting the study of basic sciences for decades now.

As a result of these initial investments, the information technology sector has rapidly developed in the city. Even the state governments have been liberal in their rules and regulations and are giving timely support for the growth of science and technology. Recently, Bengaluru has caught the world’s attention with the growth of start-up investments in the city.
