In a move that oddly reflected the plot of the recently released Apoorva, a 27-year-old student fell in love with her 65-year-old principal and the two got married despite protests by the girl's parents. This is the story of Akash and Kripa, the principal and student of a college in Hennur in Bengaluru.

However, the girl’s parents figured out the time when the couple would be at the registrar's office to collect the marriage certificate; her family assembled at the entrance and started yelling at him and physically restraining the girl.

However, the girl stepped in saying she was determined to marry the older man. "I am 27, and I can take decisions. This is no infatuation, and I love him and want spend the rest of my life with him."

When protests from her family became exceptionally intense, she even claimed that from that moment she had no one, and was going to live with her husband.
