A woman hired Pulsar Suni to abduct Mollywood actress

In a startling revelation, senior dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi told a Malayalam television channel that Pulsar Suni, the key suspect in the abduction of the popular Malayalam actress, told his victim that a woman hired him for the job.

In an interview to Media One channel, Bhagyalakshmi said that he talked to the actress the other day. "Pulsar Suni told her that the 'quotation' was given by a woman," Bhagyalakshmi said quoting the victim. "But I believe that it was a red herring. The actress's account of the incident was very shocking," Bhagyalakshmi said.

"When Suni told her he was hired by someone else, she (the actress) offered him money not to attack her. Even after offering more money, he did not spare her," Bhagyalakshmi explained.

The victim told Bhagyalakshmi that she had not mentioned the name of the famous actor in her statement to the police as was widely rumoured. Even though the actor had intervened to create problems in her career, she does not think that he would do such cruelty towards her, the dubbing artist said.

There were rumours that a prominent actor was behind the assault on the actress. All kinds of speculations gained currency after reports that the police questioned a film star at his Aluva residence on Tuesday. The rumour mill pointed the needle of suspicion towards actor Dileep, forcing him to come up with an explanation that he had nothing to do with the whole episode and that the police did not question him. "Let those who spread the rumours find out who the actor is," Dileep said.
