Kumar Bangarappa who joined the Congress in 1996, has given 21 reasons to quit the Congress and has submitted the letter to the party high command. However, the Congress party has told that they have no clue about his resignation so far. He is likely to join BJP.

 

These are the 21 reasons cited by Kumar Bangarappa to quit the party

1)    It is not the matter of one day or one election. This decision to quit is the conscious decision following the developments in the Congress from many years now

2)    Kumar Bangarappa seconded what veteran political leader SM Krishna had said while quitting Congress after more than 50 years in the party that Congress party needs managers and not leaders.

3)    The anger is from the days of Shanthaveri Gopala Gowda and the rivalry it had with the Samajwadi Party and his father Bangarappa, who was the former chief minister of Karnataka to this day. The Congress has stooped to a new level.
