20 BJP leaders will join Congress: Home Minister Dr Parameshwara

Dr Prameshwar was speaking in reaction to BJP leader CT Ravi’s statement that more Congress leaders will join their party after the by-election in Gundlupet and Nanjangud. The by-poll is slated to be held on April 9.

Reacting to CT Ravi, Dr Parameshwar said that I have the list of 20 BJP leaders who will join Congress. But I will not hurry and release the list of leaders before the Assembly elections Assembly elections to be held in the next year.

Recently, many leaders including former CM and Maharashtra Governor SM Krishna had joined BJP. Before him, even veteran Congress leader Srinivas Prasad had joined the BJP.

Former Congress leader SM Krishna has not only joined BJP but has become the star campaigner for the new party he has joined. With veteran Congress leaders joining BJP, the leaders of the party are not leaving any opportunity to mock the Congress.

However, Dr Parameshwar did not reveal any leader’s name,w ho would be joining the Congress. Whether it is just a speculation or even the leaders in BJP are tired of the party giving importance to those who have migrated from other parties than their own leaders, is a question that will be answered after releasing of the list promised by Dr Parameshwara.
