India strikes back: Political parties hail IAF efforts in bombing JeM terror camps

 Following the air strike by Indian Air Force at Balakot in Pakistan that reportedly eliminated about 300 militants, politicians cutting across party lines have praised the efforts of the IAF.

Bengaluru: After news of the Indian Air Force striking back in reply to the Pulwama attack by destroying terror camps at Balakot in Pakistan which reportedly eliminated over 300 militants. The BJP, Congress and JD(S) expressed happiness and also hailed the efforts of armed forces.

BJP Spokesperson Prakash S hailed Prime Minister Modi for boosting the confidence of defence personnel in this operation and said, "We laud the efforts of IAF and other defence forces that struck back at terror camps. I also put out a tweet to salute our Indian heroes."

Meanwhile, chief minister Kumaraswamy who is in Delhi for seat-sharing talks with the Congress took to Twitter to congratulate and express his views on the airstrike. His tweet said, "My Salute to Indian Airforce. Jai Jawan.. Jai Hind,"

Deputy chief minister Parameshwara also joined Kumaraswamy in showering praises for the Indian armed forces in a tweet that stated, "Salute the @IAF_MCC for the massive show of strength. The commendable feat by Indian armed forces and our pilots who risked their lives for the country. Jai Hind!,"

Similarly, minister DK Shivakumar, and Karnataka Congress President Dinesh Gundu Rao also expressed their happiness on Twitter. The BJP begans celebrations at their office in Jagannath Bhavan, Malleshwaram.
