All you need to know about Dubai's new Visa system

FollowDubai just unveiled its new 'Vision System', a brand new way to deal with all kinds of Visa and residency related tasks. The new system hopes to decongest the system and provide a smoother process to renew Visa and Residency related issues.Â
Earlier, all residents were required to travel to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) building or its branches for a host of important tasks like applying for a visa, renewing residency or even cancellation of visas.Â
Henceforth, such transactions and several other related others can be performed at approved typing services centres. The service will, of course, depend on users providing accurate emails, addresses and phone numbers so that their services can be confirmed or delivered.Â
In the new system, users can submit all of their details at these typing service centres and have to visit the GDRFA only once, to get their passports stamped. Visit visas, and other renewals will be issued through email.
Application fees remain unchanged.Â
