Ask your co-worker to pipe down using these three ways

It’s bound to happen in an office space where you co-exist with other teams or within your own team there seem to be certain people who are unaware of their own decibel level. And that can be very irritating especially when you’re trying to get work done.
Headphones:
One of the easiest ways to handle a noisy co-worker is to invest in a pair of good headphones. If you have noise cancelling headsets, all the better. Although this may backfire if your boss calls you, and you don’t hear him or her.
Politely tell them:
It’s going to be awkward at first, but you must power through and let them know, politely of course, to bring down their decibel down by a notch or two. If that fails, ask them to step outside and continue their conversation.
Move to a quiet zone:
Most offices have a number of conference rooms, so you can easily step into, and complete your work, if you can’t handle the loud co-worker, or despise conflicts. Do note, that this is only a short-term solution. Else, you have to complain to your boss or HR if it really gets out of hand.
