Visit these lesser-known waterfalls in Kerala
1. Mankayam:
This ecotourism zone in Kerala is home to two gorgeous waterfalls that come from the Mankayam river. Amidst lush greenery, this makes for a great trekking session and camping. These two waterfalls are Kalakkayam and Kurissadi.
2.Vazhachal Waterfalls
At the edge of the Sholayar forest, lies the Vazhachal waterfalls, which lies in the shadow of its other famous neighbour - Athirappily. If you want to get one with nature, this is an ideal scenic spot.
3. Meenmutty Waterfalls:
Located in Wayanad, this cascading beauty is at a height of 300 metres. One way to get here is on foot through a dense jungle trek that’s about a two-kilometre walk.
4. Thommankutu Waterfalls
For some truly zen moments, head on over here to this falls which is located at Idukki. The closest place is Thodumpuzha which is around 20kms away.
