FollowThe staff at a Brazilian woman’s hospital in Sao Paulo was in for a surprise. They did not expect to see a miraculous development but that’s what happened when a baby girl was born.
Recently, the nurses at the hospital delivered a baby girl and were ready to give her a bath. But as it turned out, the new born had different plans. Instead of lying down and co-operating with the staff, she took her first few steps, leaving everyone in the room quite stunned.

The nurses, who have rarely seen a baby walk so soon called their colleagues from different nursing stations and recorded a video. The clip captures the infant’s steely determination to stand up and take a few steps even if her legs give up on her.

In the video, the midwife is heard saying, “I was trying to wash her here and she keeps getting up to walk. If you told people what happened no one would believe it unless they saw it with their own eyes.”
Babies usually take their first few steps between 9-12 months after their birth and can walk without support after 14 months. Newborns take a while to walk since their legs aren’t strong enough to support them.
