A small private Cessna plane crashed into the 405 freeway in Los Angeles, temporarily shutting off traffic in the area Two people were involved in the crash and are said to be in a critical condition  It is said that the engine of the Cessna failed 

Commuters on the 405 Freeway near Orange County ere in for a horrific surprise on Friday morning when they saw a small private Cessna plane swerve dangerously into the ongoing traffic and then crash land on the tarmac .

The plane immediately burst into flames on landing. It was headed to the nearby John Wayne Airport to make an emergency landing but could not make it in time.

Two people in the plane were hospitalised. Local reports say that the plane hit close to six vehicles on making contact with ground.

Social media immediately caught the action with some expressing how scary the whole incident had been.
