The wedding was serenaded by 250 of their closest friends who witnessed a grand affair that took place amidst bouquets of delicately arranged lilies. But neither the grandness of the venue nor the beauty of the flowers matched the bride’s wedding gown.
Every guest’s eye was locked on a dress that shimmered with 500,000 Swarovski crystals, paillete and laser-cut flowers. The heir to the crystal family reportedly paid Rs 6 crore for the dress she designed alongside Dubai based designer, Michael Cinco, who has designed for Beyonce and Lady Gaga.
This stunning display of artistry was present for everyone to see however, it weighed 46 kgs, almost the weight of another person. Swarovski’s wedding train was 8 metres long and shone as she walked down the aisle with her dad, Paul, who works for the family business.
A picture from the wedding shows six people lifting her gown as she tries to walk. However, the bride didn’t need any help after the wedding as her happiness helped her glide through the crowd. She proved the age old saying that love conquers all, especially issues that weigh down on you.
Thankfully, she changed her outfit for the reception that took place 20 kilometres from the church. According to Daily Mail, the bride, who is a popular singer back home in Austria, sang for her guests and slipped into something much more comfortable.
