The menu ranges from sausage and bacon rolls to double barrel hot dogs; all served up to order.

Speaking to Asianet Newsable, owner Rahul Nair shared what it takes to run a food truck in Bengaluru.

"People don't realise how difficult the business can be. Everyone expects to make a quick buck. But it takes a lot of work," Rahul said.

As an example Rahul recalled once when he had committed to a hundred burgers for a client, only to have his workers walk out on him at the last minute.

"Ultimately I and my cousin somehow fulfilled the order since one cannot back out of a commitment," Rahul said.

But the point remains - if you want to run a food truck, be prepared to work hard.

"Although it is something I love to do, so I don't mind," Rahul quickly added.

The bite club is a passion project indeed. Before entering the hospitality business, Rahul worked for Accenture for ten years. He began the food truck close to two years ago and hadn't looked back ever since.

The speciality of the big bite club is Goan food, with a variety of sausages and plenty of bacon. The masalas are all home made by Rahul himself.

The truck also serves up food for the season - from crab burgers to Turkey dishes.

"Goan is an acquired taste, so we have expanded to other cuisines as well. But everything gets a special spin," Rahul said.

Going by the crowds around the truck, customers seem to agree with the 'special' sentiment as well.

When asked for advice for young entrepreneurs who might aspire to run their own food trucks, Rahul gave some cautious suggestions.

"The food truck business is relatively cheaper to get into. But sometimes things do get murky, so be prepared. Also, results will come after years, so instant money cannot be part of your plans. ".

If you want to try some of their dishes then you can always drop by at Pebbles during the Under 25 summit.

On a regular basis you can catch the truck near RMZ on weekdays and near the Monkey Bar in Indiranagar twelfth main road late night in the weekends.
