At a recent event, the President had cheekily joked about taking a job at Spotify once he exited his presidency. Billboard reported, “I'm still waiting for my job at Spotify," he told former Swedish ambassador Mark Brzezinski at the White House. "Cuz' I know y'all loved my playlist."

That’s not surprising at all. His curated playlist was the most popular and most listened to on Spotify for two years in a row.

According to a report by The New York Times, “For a playlist to hit No. 1 globally on its own out of nowhere is just bananas,” Mr. Prince, a Spotify spokesperson said. “If he wants a job curating music when this presidential gig is over, we’d take him in a second. That’s very impressive.”

With January 20, 2017, being the last working day as POTUS, the CEO and founder of Spotify, Daniel Ek, tweeted out a job offer.

No word, if the outgoing POTUS has followed up on it.

That being said, the job posting is legit and is open to those interested.
