The scion of Mysuru royal family, Yaduveera Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, who will tie the knot next month, is looking forward to a simple do. He says, “I am fascinated with a simple wedding, and that is my first preference.” The royal wedding is scheduled for June 27 and 28, 2016.

Talking to the reporters, Yaduveera Wadiyar expressed his fondness for a simple wedding. However, he said the marriage customs and rituals would be decided by his mother, Pramodadevi Wadiyar, and palace authorities. “The marriage and reception will be held in Mysuru itself.” he added.

The Ambavilas Palace of Mysuru is getting ready for the marriage of Yaduveera, King of Mysuru, and Trishika, Princess of Dongarpur, Rajastan.

Family members of both the royal families and VIPs are expected to attend the wedding.

The Chamundi Puja is scheduled to be held at the Ganesha Temple situated inside the palace premises. Trishika’s parents will also participate in the puja. The priests of the palace will conduct the marriage rituals. This is a marriage function that the palace is witnessing after 40 years.
