Shocking: This is what happens when you throw coins for good luck

 

There are various kinds of beliefs. People go to any extent to get lucky. Many beliefs like tying the sacred thread to a tree, presenting a cradle to the God, and even throwing the special coins in water are considered as auspicious and lucky.

 

But no one knows what happens after that? How your wishes and demands reach the concerned God, no one knows yet. But what was found in reality, was rather shocking.

 

 

There is a lake in Bankok which is popular for the belief that throwing coins inside the lake will improve people’s heath. The lake is situated inside a zoo. This zoo also inhabits many water-friendly creatures including tortoises.

 

Recently, when one tortoise was found inactive, it was taken out of the lake and was operated. To doctors surprise, it had hundreds of coins inside its stomach.

 

There is no evidence to people’s health improving. But the lake has upset the health of this tortoise for sure!
