Zoologist Dolph C Volker moves in with cheethas Did so in the name of science Their behaviours are remarkable

Talk about getting up, close and personal with your subjects to understand them better.

That’s exactly what zoologist Dolph C. Volker did. To understand their nocturnal behaviours, Volker decided to become like them, by moving into their enclosure by creating a box and sleeping  on their property, so to speak.

While these cheetahs have been hand raised, they are still wild animals at the end of the day. And, things can go wrong in a heartbeat.

Their behaviours are so human-like, that it’s hard not to find them adorable. From jealousy to playfulness, their behaviour can be seen here.
