Most often, we shy away from making ice-cream at home since it takes up a lot of time and requires the use of a machine. However, there is an easier way of making this delicious dessert that’s a treat after dinner, in the evening or basically at any point in the day.

This easy recipe for ice-cream only takes 10 minutes of your time and requires you to use salt and ziplock bags. You can improvise and change the rest of the ingredients.

Take 2-3 cups of crushed or cubed ice and place it in a big ziplock bag. After this, add 1/3 cup of salt to the ice.

In a smaller ziplock bag, add 1 cup of milk, 1 ½ tablespoon of sugar and ½ teaspoon of vanilla essence. Seal and place the smaller bag in the bigger ziplock bag and shake it well for 5 minutes.

After this, let the bags rest on a towel for a more minutes. Take out the scoops of ice-cream and serve it.

You can add other flavourings instead of vanilla. Alternatively, you can also add chopped fruits of your choice. This ice-cream lends itself to variations and if you like to experiment, go ahead and create wonders in your kitchen.
