One of the main ingredients in vicks vapour rub is camphor. This is known to suppress cough. You can substitute this with eucalyptus essential oil. Make sure that you buy the essential oil and not the plain one. Apart from eucalyptus essential oil, you can also add lavender essential oil since it relieves headaches.

Melt beeswax and coconut oil. If your beeswax comes in a block, then grate it.
