"Help, please. I have a boa constrictor stuck to my face," a  panicked woman told a somewhat confused operator on Thursday in Ohio.

It is not always that you get a call saying you have a snake wrapped around your face and you are alive to tell the tale.

According to reports, the 45-year-old caller had rescued the snake earlier in the day along with 11 others, but somehow this boa constrictor was not in a mood to say thank you. In her call she narrated how the snake had wound itself around her and had begun to bite her nose and face. She also said she could not unlatch the snake’s jaw.

Firefighters responded to the call and were able to pry the snake from the woman’s face but not before spilling some blood. The rescue team had to cut off the head of the snake in order to save her. The boa constrictor is not a poisonous snake but like its name loves to strangle or squeeze its victims.

The hapless 911 operator asked the woman to remain calm but who can when you have a five feet snake wrapped around your head. Interestingly, she has nine other snakes which are ball pythons.

The woman was rescued and she has non-threatening injuries.
