Glow-in-the-dark hair beauty trend is taking the Internet by storm


Getting your hair coloured was a big deal. Then came the rainbow hair, and one wondered if this was it. But this year saw the birth of glow-in-the-dark hair.

What makes the hair glow you wonder? The answer lies in the “UV reactive rays”.

Some facts that you should remember if you choose to do so:

  • Brunettes will need to first lighten their hair to get better results, unlike blondes.
  • It’s not permanent
  • Like all coloured hair, this too can be maintained with proper care.

My official entry!!! 👾👾👾 model was previously lifted to a 10 with about an inch and a half of new growth. Starting at the nape and working my way up with medium zig zag sections, separated with cotton to prevent colors from touching, I applied in various combinations of the @kenraprofessional #neons in blue, violet, green, yellow, orange and fuschia. Process at room temperature for 30 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Rough dry with @dysonhair dryer. Using a one inch marcel, curling the hair, alternating rotation throughout head.
