Did you know that baking soda can be incorporated into your beauty regime without burning a hole in your wallet?
1. Dry Shampoo:
Forgot to pack in your dry shampoo? Well, a small dime-sized amount of baking soda will be your knight in shining armour. Apply that to your scalp, and remove the rest while combing your hair.
2. Fingertips and Toes:
Are the tips of your fingers looking dull and lifeless? Add a smidge of baking powder to a bowl of warm water and soak your hands in them. Not only will it make your hands and nails feel fresh and healthy, it also exfoliates them. Have a fungal or bacterial infection? Then soak your foot in tub of water with some baking powder in it.
3. Natural deodorant:
All you need is your favourite essential oil, an eighth of baking powder and a tablespoon of water. It works well because it’s a natural antibacterial agent. Use a cotton ball and rub it under your arms.
4. Skin:
Baking soda has some kickass exfoliating properties. It is a great scrub and tightens pores when coupled with apple cider vinegar. That’s not all. It works as a great as an anti-acne treatment. Leave it on your skin for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
