With dinner, Audi and iPhone 7s, Gurugram boy woos 2,000 women on Facebook

Some people use good ol’ fashion romance to woo their object of their desire. Some can’t muster up the courage to ask their crush out, and then are others who’d like to buy their date by flaunting their wealth.
Gurugram-based resident Shakul Gupta decided to get himself a date. No big deal, except he chose to advertise it on Facebook, and explicitly stated what he was looking for – a lavish dinner and the latest iPhone7s of his date’s choice.

And the surprisingly bizarre part: Over 2,000 women responded to his Facebook post. Yes, that’s right.

In his follow-up post, he posted a shout-out. “I got more than 2,000 applications. Took me and my team 5 days to filter the best 5 girls & I had to push the Valentines celebration to 16th Feb.”
Well, if this wasn’t enough, he followed it up with an update that he did indeed take these 5 ladies (personally vetted by him and his team) for a lavish dinner at the Oberoi with a copy of his receipt.
Talk about keeping it classy, eh?
