This scarf can make you 'invisible' in photos
What's that one thing that celebrities are always dread? The nosey paparazzi.
But, now, celebrities can move anywhere without fearing the frenzy of flash photography, thanks to this paparazzi-proof scarf called the anti-flash scarf . Developed by Saif Siddiqui, a Dutch-born fashion entrepreneur, this handy accessory could be a game-changer for celebrities. The scarf acts like an invisibility cloak for those who do not want their photo taken. Saif Siddiqui designed the scarf with the aim to respect the privacy of people and to uphold the fundamental right to privacy. In fact, celebrities like Nick Jonas, Paris Hilton among others have already taken a shine to it.
The scarf is named "ISHU" ( a word play on the term 'issue') was first spotted at the London Fashion Week, 2015.
According to their website, theishu.com, "The concept of the ISHU began in 2009, when Dutch-born Saif Siddiqui took a picture of friends standing in front of a bike in Amsterdam. He noticed that the bike’s reflector affected the flash of his mobile camera in a way that obscured the faces of his friends in the picture. He realised that if developed in the right manner, this feature would be an ideal solution to those wanting to keep their private moments in public, private. Saif put together a team of experts, who explored the science of light and reflection and how to blend technology with fashion."
Besides scarfs, you can also choose to accessorize your phone with its handy phone cover. Or alternatively, choose to wear a tie and pocket square. Or a hoodie.
This product will be launched globally in August. That being said, these products does not come cheap, either. The anti-flash scarf can be pre-ordered online ( theishu.com) for £289 or ₹ 25,531.79.
