I am Neenu's legal father but she is not Kevin's legal wife, says Chako

FollowPrime accused in Kevin murder case, Neenu's father approached the court to seeking permission to move his daughter out of Kevin's house, where she is currently living. Her father said that there is no valid proof that Neenu had legally married Kevin.
"Neenu is living now in some stranger's house. Please ask her to shift to any home which will take care of women," argued Neenu's father. His lawyer said that as Kevin died three days after the alleged marriage and the certificate has not been issued yet, the couple is not legally married. He added that she was staying in the house of some stranger.
The lawyer told the court that Chako is Neenu's father legally and he has all the rights to take a decision on Neenu. The advocate also wanted to provide Neenu treatment if required. The court accepted Chacko's complaint and said the hearing would be held later. The Ettumanoor Judicial first class magistrate court has remanded Chacko and Shanu to judicial custody till June 8.
Meanwhile, the lawyer argued in the court that Neenu's mother was being treated for mental illness. But the court observed that this condition cannot be related to the case.
